Dear fans of Battlebots, For those of you who don't already know this, the Comedy Central Network has decided not to renew its contract with Battlebots for the taping of season 6.0, Leaving this season postponed indefinitely. We at Team Omegaforce along with several other small teams believe this to be unacceptable and wish to help out Trey Roski and Battlebots inc. By creating this petition, we plan to show Comedy Central the dedication of the Battlebots fan-base. This decision not only affects the fans but most of all the builders themselves. This is the event that made them famous and it is being thrown away like yesterday's garbage. Smaller teams looking for sponsors lose massive leverage by not having the major show to go on. We hope that the names on this petition will either: A) Convince CC to change their decision and pick up season 6.0 or B) Convince another network to realize the potential of Battlebots and to sign with them in the same format, showcasing the engineering skills and sportsmanship of the builders, rather than turning it into a pro-wrestling like spectacle.
